OK so this happened today. Mr D and I have been poorly for a few days with a nasty cold. He got tested on Wednesday when he came home ill but was negative, so we figured it was just a cold. Then today we were due a visit from my BIL and niece and Mr D did a quick test beforehand because he was really tight-chested. So...I guess we're stuck at home the next few days. J1 and J2 were both home ill last week and were probably our virus-carriers. They're both testing negative now though, so they can go to school, much to their chagrin!

He’s not too bad. Pretty sleepy, though manages to power through when I give him PS5 time. His main complaint is a sore throat. And he’s saying his chest hurts this morning too.

I hope you’re both ok!

We both felt pretty grotty at the end of last week but yesterday we got some of our energy back. In the end, we went for a long walk but regretted wandering so far from home - the walk back was arduous! We were exhausted last night but after a good night's sleep we are both just left with a wheezy cough.

L tested positive today. He’s had a cold since Friday and this morning said he was feeling really cold so I think he’s running a bit of a temp (thermometer’s broken so I can’t check). The rest of us are negative so far.

MrTex has tested positive today. It’s the first time he’s had it and it seems to have hit him quite hard.

Eurgh, I hope he's ok Tex. M hasn't had it yet (to our knowledge) and I'm still a bit scared of him getting it in case ot goes straight to his pneumonia prone lungs.

I've still got a bit of a cough from my bout a few weeks ago, but t be fair I wasn't really that ill at all, just the same as if I had a bad cold.

My dad’s tested positive today too and first time. He said he feels slightly off, persistent dry cough and slight cold symptoms.

Hope everyone doesn’t feel too unwell with it.

L seems to be over the worst of it, MrTex has managed to get out of the bed this evening which is something.

Hope your dad only has it mildly.

This is the third but I wasn’t really noticeably ill the second time. This time is similar to the first. Temp of 38.7 and everything aches.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

My dad has been on a vaccine trial since the beginning of the trials so he has to prick his finger for five days to send off the bllod samples to check his viral load.

We're still testing regularly as part of a Covid survey; tested last week with the results back today, and Mr D's result was positive! Apart from a bad headache (which I'd told him was probably due to spending so long at his computer), he had no other symptoms. The rest of us were negative. My parents were up for the weekend, so I was really worried they'd have caught it (neither of them have had it yet, goodness know how) but they've tested negative today and both feel fine.

Hope everyone who's currently got it feels better soon.

Hope everyone is feeling better. I’m fed up with it now. I was still strongly positive on Sunday, still have cold/cough symptoms and chest pain if I do too much.
