I slowly feel better while on the IV antibiotics but as soon as they stop them, I relapse.
I've been here so long I'm totally institutionalised.

I just read the last few pages of this and I am so sorry for what you're going through, Tsu. I am glad renal consultant number three seems to know what he's doing and I hope you get sorted out soon....and for good. Wishing you all the best.

I'm so sorry to hear you're still in hospital, Tsu! I really hope you're released soon. In the meantime I hope the food's ok and you've got some books/lots of internet to to read/watch.

Yes. The cretinous Ruby is correct for once. Can we help in any kind of way?

You're all very kind but I can't think of anything. I think I've just got to do what the doc says.
Current plan is a few more days in here with IV antibiotics then home with either a metric fuckton of oral antibiotics or a hospital at home type of arrangement where they do IV antibiotics at my home.
Either way it's not a fast fix because (and I never knew this) but infected cysts are notoriously difficult to treat. You don't say. 🙄
