Back to kettlebells this evening. It was packed again. I have to admit I was kind of hoping the stand in lady would be back even though I ached until Thursday last week. :))

5.5 mile run at lunch time. Just got to do 5.5 miles every day until 31st then I’m done! (I’ve walked loads of them - I can’t believe I ran the whole thing in 2020)

I went to Aqua this evening and have also walked over 15,000 steps today.

I went to dance step tonight & smiled from start to finish.

That sounds lovely, Pip.

I’ve just done a full body workout. I wasn’t feeling it, it was hard and I didn’t enjoy it. But it’s done. And it was better for me than just sitting surfing my phone.

I always think those are the workouts that make the most difference.

Plodding on here. Still having fun kicking and punching and lifting heavy stuff. Have had to take it easy this week with an aggravated Achilles tendon though 🙄

I like your take on it, Geek :)

Tomorrow is shoulders day which is my absolute favourite so I’m looking forward to that.

So far this month, I have walked about 17km, swam 3.3km and done one RPM class.

I'm still on a step streak (62 days!), so I hope to keep that going.

As suspected, I loved this morning’s shoulder workout. Anything that gets me a little closer to Linda Hamilton arms and shoulders is a big win.

I did tai chi this lunch time in the Secret Garden. It was really lovely.

I’m on my last week of the Caroline Girvan Iron series now. It was leg day. I finally worked my way up to my 22.5kg dumbbells 💪🏻

I’m guessing that’s outside Pip? Sounds lovely!

I’ve lost track on end of July/beg of August but I’ve been enjoying my classes. Friday evenings is now an in-person skills class (rather than pancake focused - that’s now combined with hybrid splits on Sunday evening). We did acrogym stuff last time I went, so after years of flying the girls on my feet, I got to fly myself. :perky:

I did my first ever single arm hang, but haven’t been able to replicate it since. And when I did my best ever nearly-chin up at home the other day and screamed for somebody to come see, nobody did. Bastards. :mog:

Yay for chin-ups!

It was upper body for me yesterday and glutes this morning. I’m mildly hungover today and felt a bit queasy at points. I’m glad most of it was lying on the floor!

I had a 1:2 yoga session yesterday with one of the other calisthenics students leading. It will be a monthly thing but only for those who can turn up in person as she’s new to teaching and doesn’t want to do online yet.

Gym this morning for rowing and head/handstands.

I did spin Tuesday and Thursday last week and am booked in for those days again this week. I just hope it's not too hot this week as the gym is rubbish for having the air con on.

Yesterday at Dance Step there were only 5 or 6 of us and we did five routines. It was manic but brilliant.

How rude :mog:

We cycled yesterday and I'm back in the routine of walking, swimming, RPM and a possible run - step streak is still going :))

Full body day today. It was sets of upper and lower exercises paired together and ended up being easier than I thought. Could probably have lifted a bit heavier.

I managed to sneak out for a run/walk at lunchtime yesterday. Calisthenics circuit at home with Elvis this morning.

Decided to log off work early today and add on an extra workout to finish Iron Series - arms and abs.
