I forgot that it was a new month so posted on the Oct thread. Anyway here is a shiny new November thread.

I did 20 mins full body and a 10 min treadmill walk. Easy to ease myself back in after feeling under the weather this weekend.

I've started the month with an 8.30 BodyPump, a bit of an instructor remix. I hated the lunges.

It was leg day here today. I’ll join you in the lunge-hate corner, Hippy!

Wed - C25k
Thu - Badminton
Fri - gym this morning, but mainly helping poor Sproglette who’d done a bleep test the previous day with massage

Then a 1:1 followed by a skills class, which was shoulder stands and acro gym poses.

I did upper body and biceps today. Mostly to get an endorphin rush to be honest.

New Spirit launch this morning at David Lloyd, which meant the big studio with three instructors leading different sections.

The standing strength track is, thankfully, not so much of a beast as in the previous release. There’s lots of faffing with arms throughout the release though.

Glutes this morning. And I set my watch to cardio while I cut the grass today and turns out it was a proper workout too.

Dance Step yesterday was frenetic & brilliant. Totally takes me out of my head.

I did kettlebells tonight and enjoyed my rage.

Dance Step tonight and I ended up having to help one of my gym friends with her leggings because she’s got a frozen shoulder & needed a wee. :)) I’m sure she’s helped when my bra has pinged before so it’s all good.

You’re a good friend!

I did shoulders today. I’ve finished my second round of the Iron series and couldn’t decide what I was in the mood for so opted for that and it was a good choice.

Pilates started early tonight (ie on time, which is highly irregular), so I was late and walked in to The Eye of The Tiger for the warm up and got the giggles. It tough tonight.

Les Mills is offering a Pilates workout I see, so I might try it to see how it compares to party game pilates.

I have recently (last weekend) re-joined a gym and am trying to rekindle my love of classes and cardio/weights. I’m very, very much less fit and a lot heavier than I used to be, so it’s a real mind game to adjust expectations of what I can (and want) do based on the past vs current reality 🥲

I tried to take on too much today, with lunchtime Zumba and an evening aerobics class I was quite looking forward to. But the Zumba has done me in! I’m trying not to beat myself up about it. It’s probably a good thing as I need to build up gradually, really, if I don’t want to do myself an injury.

I’m back at Zumba at the weekend and might do another Pump tomorrow if I’m awake early enough and can motivate myself out the door :look: If not maybe just some easy weights and a treadmill run later on.

I’m down at my mum’s for a couple of days and I did a BodyPump last nights and BodyBalance this morning in the local health centre. Both felt relatively painless apart from the lunges on the Pump track which I hated with a fiery passion and had to go from bar with warmup weight to single plate to body weight only.

I went body weight only on lunges today. I fucking hate lunges. I also fucking hate people who take more than one if everything with the equipment.

We had cake for our teacher’s birthday after class. It was really nice.
