BodyPump this morning and I upped my weights in a couple of areas - I’m at 8.5 per on the squats, 5 on the chest track flies (6 still on the bar for presses).

Then yoga at lunchtime.

Full body here this morning. It was a circuit of three sets of nine exercises. When I got to the third round I wanted to die

I’m really behind on the LM Stronger Challenge but I’m still working through it. I’ve done Marlon’s BodyPump mix this morning. The shoulder track was quite nice?!

Earlier today I was daydreaming about going to my PT three or four times a week and trying to work out when I would clean and meet people for coffee :)) I would love to have that problem.

Today was Peloton, squats, weighted step-ups, shoulder press, dumbbell rows, chest press, pull-downs, planks (front and side). I tried hip dips but no dice because my back objected immediately.

BodyPump was a beast tonight on the chest track (5 and a half minutes long, no breaks, all on the bar). He did some stuff from the current release but threw in some curveballs, and I regretted my chest weight immediately.

I don't know if the triceps and biceps tracks were current release or not because the other instructors tend to do lunge and shoulders instead in the shorter 45 minute David Lloyd cut-down versions of the full release. In any event, they were NOT FUN.

I did an upper body workout today (chest, back, biceps and triceps) then I tried this 12/3/30 treadmill thing I’ve seen online. Basically it’s 30 mins walking at an incline of 12 at 3 mph. It felt very very slow to me and relatively easy.

I did 12/3/30 on the treadmill again today. It gives a good calorie burn but doesn’t feel like too much effort.

I did Pilates last night but it was all mobility/postural stuff and the warm up takes about 15-20 mins so I’m starting to get disillusioned by it.

I’ve done Pump & the new Balance this morning but have cancelled kettlebells tonight because I’ve realised I just don’t want to go. :) I upped my weights in Pump, so I think I’ve done enough.

I find Pilates either a bit nothing-y or completely impossible (roll-ups, which I just can't do because I have short legs, a long back and heavy torso so the leverage/balance points never work for me).

BodyPump again this morning, again with my new slightly bigger weights, which still don't feel challenging enough in some areas. I think this is a release you have to go pretty heavy for. Then Spirit at lunchtime.

This is me, whenever I've done Pilates, I've ended up flailing around like an upended turtle

PT session this morning, I'd had a really stressful week at work and I considered cancelling my session but I'm really glad I didn't. It really helped me clear my head and was a welcome break.

Part of my sessions is to get me familiar with weights again, I've never really done them apart from body pump. My right shoulder was injured in a car accident a few years ago, and when I tried the bar on my back today, it was really uncomfortable so she is going to do some mobility stuff with me on that.

I generally love Pilates. It genuinely is good for me, and helps not pee myself quite so often. But J definitely used to mix it up a bit more. Though to be fair she has started adding weights in. I should shut up really.

Solo efforts session today. 10 reps of “fast” 200m with jogging recoveries, and jogging warm up & cool down. Hard work but felt ok

Legs here today. All sorts of lunge variations and step ups. Then 12/3/30 on the treadmill.

Pump this morning with the rarer biceps / triceps tracks rather than shoulders / lunges. The biceps track is an utter killer, with gazillions of preacher curls, and just when you think you're finished, here's another set. Good music though (M.I.A. Bad Girls)

I kind of like the preacher curls. :l:

I did kettlebells last night. The gym seemed busier than ever.
