I’ve had a few days off as I’ve been under the weather. I eased back in with the 30 min version of Step 125.

I went back to Pilates last night and we did my favourite kind of stuff with the resistance bands. A lot of arm and core work.

Hey.

Did him reps Friday then did a savage 16 miles yesterday which was another huge step forward.

However this is potentially a huge step back. This happens to me every. Fucking. Time that I start getting somewhere.

Fucks sake.

Ouch blimey TC. That looks painful.

I tried to go to the gym today after not going for two weeks. I lasted 20 mins on the bike and tried the cross trainer but realised I was struggling to breathe and hadn’t bought my asthma inhaler. I will pack my stuff up for tomorrow and try again

Jeez, Alan.

I did Dance Step earlier. It was really quiet so we spent ages getting the first bit right and then did loads of routines. My watch recorded it as a run though.

Ouch TC. I feel bad for joking about ambulances now.

Don't feel bad, I was laughing. 😂

Just got to hope this doesn't take more than a week to heal.

My physio friend would say not to take anti-inflammatory meds so the body can do its own thing in healing. Ice ice baby.

Ooh, cheers for that.

I had to take some in order to be able to drive home but I've not had any since I got back and will just deal with the pain that is now getting worse and worse. I am hoping its just a bad twist but who the hell knows with ankles, so much can go wrong.

I’m in charge of Squeak’s rehab for the next week and so we’ve been to the gym this evening. I went to kettlebells, then came home & picked her up and went straight back there. She did all the machines and I had to rack up the Smith machine and spot her, then we did the treadmill. As only my second time on a treadmill I went for a nice walk while she did a stamina program and pushed it.

Good for you and Squeak.

I took out a lot of anger and frustration on the cross trainer for 45 minutes this evening and feel much better for it.

I did spin tonight, I was a bit late getting to the class so I missed what his theme was, and I couldn't work it out from the songs. It was a hard class, I wasn't really in the mood and the guy behind me had a really squeaky bike which was very annoying. Anyway, I went so that's the main thing.

I haven't done weights since last week as my right wrist/arm is really painful. I don't think I've done anything specific to it, it feels more like RSI or tendonitis. I hope it eases off soon as its sore and annoying.

Have you worked out what you’ve done TC?

That’s annoying about your arm/wrist sally! I hope it wears off quickly.

We’ve rejigged our schedule as not getting out for a third run at the weekend was becoming an issue. So we’re going M/W/F now (gym with Sproglette Tu/Thu), and we’ve introduced half a flapjack before we go for Elvis. The runs aren’t that long (we’re up to R3, W3, R20 today) but she needs something I think, unlike me who stopped growing upwards a while ago and has plenty of reserves to use.

No, I don't know yet other than it definitely isn't broken.

I called 111 on Monday night and they told me to drink water and keep it elevated until the weekend, things would be clearer after seven days apparently. Its still really difficult to move on but it is changing colour into a really quite pretty scheme of blues, reds, yellows, greens and black so I take it that it is starting to bruise up. A third of my shin has also turned yellow.

That sounds truly awful, TC. Are you able to get around ok?

I did Step 125 today.

Its fairly grim, not gonna lie.

Yeah, I can get kind of shuffle about for short periods of time so can get to the loo and eat and things but I'm not going to lie, it really fucking sucks.
