I’m going to start this with regret. I forgot to check out on Friday’s classes so now I’m on the wait list. :lg:

I’ve also done nothing apart from Sweatlebells on Friday. The woman who go was having the affair with my friend’s BIL (sill with me?) was there, but he’s gone back to his wife.

Anyway, the DOMS were bad and squatting to pick stuff up off the floor has been hard this weekend.

I'll join you in September, Pip while the others languish in August :))

We cycled yesterday and I also walked to get my step count in.

I may start C25K again as I had a little run when I was out walking on Saturday and it wasn't that bad :look:

Swimming this morning with a walk to and from the pool.

I simply mooched around the house yesterday but today another PB for my run - by 22 seconds - so I'm looking to get that under 23 mins and then I think I'll add another 1.5 miles to my loop. I also walked this afternoon.

Weights workout today, I like it but it's tricky to find the right time to go. I do spin on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, so those are out. I also leave work a bit earlier those days. That leaves Mon/Wed/Fri but I don't want to go to the gym every weekday. I also can't leave work early every day but the gym is so busy after 5pm :lg:

I have a review next week with the instructor who did my induction and I'm going to talk it over with her. I could go first thing in the morning but I hate morning exercise and I'd have to go early enough to get ready for work afterwards. I don't work from home much these days so have less flexibility than before.

I don't think there really is a solution tbh, I just wanted to get my thoughts down on paper (as such).

I’ve had a dodgy back, and haven’t done any classes for over a week, but I’ve done loads of gardening and walking and my step count and calorie burn on my Fitbit have been much higher than usual.

This morning I did a bodypump, class, walked the dog at lunchtime, then did a Zumba class tonight.

I’ve started on new meds and they’ve wiped me out so I’ve had a few days off. But I put my big girl pants on today and worked out. Full body.

5k run this morning, then Grit Strength at lunchtime. I might do handstands tonight, might not.

5 mile club run tonight, but had to walk the last 2 due to stomach issues. Frustrating but one of the last pub runs I’d the summer so I’m glad I went.

I never post on this thread although I read it every day as I love seeing everyone's progress.

I do the same things quite a lot so I don't tend to post as it tends to be very repetitive although I'm now currently getting running training to get me under 50 mins for 10k.

Anyways

Monday - BootCamp (bodyweight) with a 50 min recovery run. I've just looked on my training schedule and it was meant to be 40mins but hey it's done now
Tuesday - 4/3/2/1 session. This was intervals of 4km downwards at 5:20 pace or less with a 2 min recovery period. I walked the recoveries as I was exhausted as by Tuesday I'm normally on my fourth day of running.

Tonight I have Bootcamp this is my weekly weight session. Usually with an 8kg kettle bell.

That's a nice target to be aiming for!

I have no time to do anything today (I could go for a short walk at lunchtime but not in this heat!). I'm feeling Grit Strength a little, but nothing like Body Attack so this might be the answer for HIIT for me.

That is a good target, Duo.

It was quads and calves here for me today. I had to cut it short though as my right calf kept cramping badly.

Yesterday I went for my first run since our holiday and when I got back I had energy to spare. So....I did a LWR abs HIIT workout. Today I am suffering. Almost couldn't get out of bed this morning! Still did a half-hour lunchtime walk though.

Body pump this morning then handstands in the evening. Plus I was a disheveled mess at the end of that class so I stayed on for splits class.

I went to spin tonight, and also Tuesday night. After 9 years of doing spin on and off, I finally bought proper cycling shoes. I feel like a bit of a twat but they make a real difference.

It was so hot tonight 🥵

I’ve managed to spots on tomorrow’s classes now. :perky:

Pilates tonight was very gentle in the heat and we did it with fairy lights alone in the hope of deterring all the flying beasties.
