This is SUCH a Kindle benefit, innit?
I have found myself pressing a word on an actual book a couple of times.
 Same.

I’ve tried to page-swipe on actual books, as well :))

Not that - yet - but I did try to open my car by flashing my work pass at the handle once.

That feature is so useful!

I’ve tried to open my front door with my car key button 🤪. And tried to swipe on my laptop screen which is not a touchscreen.

I've often tried to get on the tube with my work pass on my lanyard. That always feels a bit embarrassing

Tech is melting our minds :monster:

Right well, I did five whole days and now I've broken my streak with a £10.14 spend in Lidl but actually that's not bad at all as I think if I hadn't consciously been avoiding spending I would've spent a good £30-40 since last Saturday.

Well done, Diccers - that's really good!

I am going to try the cash thing too. Things are very tricky at the moment and that might help.

A spend in Lidl is the least damaging supermarket in which to go wild, in any case.

Paying in cash has done wonders, I've still got some left. So I'll keep doing that, I think. I'm waiting on various clients to pay me so a low-spend September seems ideal.

I'm going to try to have NSDs until next Tuesday. It's a friend's birthday on Wednesday so I'll be present and card buying on Tuesday. I should have bought today to try for a streak until the 30th.
