You can easily replace the veggie sausage with meat.

Thanks for that! I want to make them straight away now - looks like fun to make together with N.

I borrowed the latest Bosh book from the library as I wasn’t sure it was my thing and it isn’t. This recipe was also published in a mag though and is one of the few that doesn’t use processed meat replacement (it’s tempeh).

I’ve been having a lot of salads lately. One is a version of Nandos, and the other is chicken & bacon Caesar.

It was a beige food fest of breaded chicken burger with munster cheese, gherkins and double mustard sauerkraut.

Looks yummy. You could always pop a few slices in the freezer.

I've been on a baking spree this week. Rock buns, apple & cinnamon scones, and today I will make spiced carrot muffins.

I didn't get any rock buns (R took a few in to school for her friends, because they always ask for them!), but I did snag the last scone this morning. To be fair, I'm reducing carbs at the moment so I wasn't going for them.

Using Pip's Delia-method, I have yet again managed excellent poached eggs!

I also made poached eggs! With pumpkin, potatoes, sprouts, lemon, chilli and parsley.

Every time I've tried to make cornbread, it's come out as very ... dense. Is that how it's meant to be?
