God, the custard tart! :emme:!
Pip has me on ignore
:mog: Your instructions were perfect. I have a plan now.

That custard tart looks incredible

Bless you all Thankyou. The photo must have blurred the edges as it doesn’t look that good in real life 😂I don’t know how pastry chefs do it, I’ve literally just sat down since 10.30 this morning. And delia can bite me, her amount of custard was so pathetic I made double.

Brilliant cake there, Digs! And Pov has one-upped McD’s

Are those capers, Pip? I do like the idea of four seasons of things you like pizza. Take back control of our pizza!

I have been uninspired food wise mainly due to reducing carbs :ruby: so have some more salad variations. I did however discover ‘grilling cheese’ which I think is American haloumi and wasn’t bad. It’s also much cheaper than imported haloumi (which I can find for about $10 a block :scream: ). The one with horrific playing is a very nice pork chop with a creamy mushroom and tarragon sauce. Looks shit, tasted good.

I'm not a fan of the custard tart but it looks good.

I've never had a breakfast mcmuffin but I like the look of Pov's.

We had another tapas night...we've not touched the cheese 😂

Steak with radish top pesto. It was a featherblade and was delicious and very good value but bugger me it's hard to cut ( due to sinew through the middle, the meat itself was very tender).

I freaking love capers. I ate a few straight that I couldn’t fit on.

Steak! And the custard tart and egg mcmuffin and loads more that I've forgotten look amazing.

Adult pizza with salami, and babies' first pizza with fork for scale, that we had for lunch today. They loved it.

Hopefully! Although maybe it's better if they don't like it and I don't have to share. ;)

I was going to say, be careful what you wish for

Here's some freezer lasagne, yesterday's breakfast and some butter bean dip I made today that was a massive hit with L. It's butter beans, celery leaves, thyme, garlic, olive, s&p.

Awww.

I love that you've added extra cheese to the Lasagne.

Mr J believe all italian food requires added parmesan regardless of the cheese content

It doesn’t photograph well but I’ve just spent four hours this evening tending to a bolognese type ragu (I used red wine) and it is bloody lovely. I’ve probably eaten about a third of it in the tasting :yummeh:

That butterbean dip looks great. I need to expand my dip making skills.

We had our first take away since lockdown last night. It is Mr Coo's favourite place and they've been closed until yesterday. It was splendid and we're so lucky it is five minutes walk from our house. I had mushroom with no tomato and he had pepperoni and nduja.
