I’m impressed at the trying of spinach and celery!
We made rainbow cake today, I was genuinely surprised how well the layers turned out! I only bought one pot of frosting though so the sides are a bit sparse.

Good looking foods!
We've been eating from the freezer mainly but tonight was burger and chips. Aldi have gourmet burgers with marrow and they are delicious.
Burger, pulled pork, cheese, onion, sauce and lettuce.

Not exactly what the thread is for, but more the results of my recent Fridge Tetris game, resulting from picking up my click and collect half an hour ago. I have pretty much got a solid cube of food to work my way through over the next few weeks.
I shouldn’t need anything except maybe fresh salad stuff for the next month.
I really ought to have a sort out of the tubs of spread in the door as I’ve no idea how long those have been there, otherwise everything should be edible.

Very healthy and delicious looking cake there, Est!
I baked another sourdough this weekend. I actually got a bit of oven spring and an eyelid on this one, but the holes inside were not quite as good as before. Still, I’m slathering it in butter and ramming it in my face, so it’s all good.

That is a nice packed fridge, Hippy! Everything on this page looks good, but I’d especially like Bramble’s burger followed by a slice of Jude’s rainbow cake, please
We barbecued a beer can chicken yesterday (with a lidded bbq), with a spicy rub, and the skin was crispy and the meat delicious. We had it with coleslaw and salad. I’ll definitely do it again.

I'll have some of that please. Actually scrolling up the page, I'll have it all please. Nice holes, Epp. (I am cursing my bread lately as my loaves keep sticking to the banetton even though I have "fixed" the problem all the right ways. It still comes out tasting fine but it's a bit deformed).

Good looking cake and bread!
Dinner was leftover salad bits, including from lunch (BNS, edamame and spinach with a peanut sauce), then banana and cinammon fritters.

I’d like to thank Jude for the frying pan pizza trick! Finally a crispy bottom.

Gosh! This page.
That cake looks so lovely and decadent, Est.
I fancied something to have with a cup of tea so I made honey and pistachio friands. Apparently they are popular in Australia and NZ but neither Mr O or any of the antipodeans I polled on social media had heard of them.

I had to get a friand tin shopped from Australia so I thought they were Australian too.

Oh, your cake looks great, Brambs!
Olive, I’ve never really seen friands here. Pretty sure I’ve had them but it’s not like they’re an everywhere thing.
