The Mock Turtle

I found vegan steak in the supermarket today, I had to try it. Smelled like the beyond meat products when I was cooking it, and it tasted pretty good though of course I have nothing to compare it to.

Really glad I only brought one box back from Switzerland or I’d be in real trouble

There is something crunchy in the choco layer and the maltiness is just right. Also the biscuits are about 2/3 the size of a Leibniz type affair (so you can eat more of them )

E doesn’t like mince pies, the little weirdo, so I got her these instead and everyone in the house has gone bonkers for them.

I saw those yesterday and resisted. Did buy more of the amazing frangipane ones though.

I am so, so late to the party but \i've only just tried the jar of peanut butter and marmite. Match made in heaven. Dream combination. I used to mix them up myself on toast as a child but haven't had that in years and forgot how delicious it is.

You have the pastry shell which has a layer of caramel in the bottom. On top of that is the blondie and then the gingerbread man is on the very top.
