I did have chicken and cashew nuts planned to make but instead had a beetroot salad and fig quiche.

We ordered a CNY feast for 2 from Three Uncles too - half a roast duck, roast pork, choi sum and rice. Liv LOVED the meat and ate loads. We definitely m made up for not being able to go to Rovi last night :))

It was ok but I've had nicer quiches and think I could make a nicer - cheesier - one. Monk liked it and hates figs so that was a bonus.

I often double her spices. I think I used leftovers to make hash browns. I could happily have that for breakfast today, with poached eggs and a spicy pickle/ sauce.

Thanks, I’ve told P about doubling the spices as we found another dish a bit bland too!
