Post-walk picky lunch. We only had to warm the falafel (note the fake meats for the falafel refuseniks - their loss!) and bake the baguettes.

It all looks great. I particularly love the katsu and the Greek food!
I made Quiche Lorraine and all family members ate it!

That looks lovely purps, I do love a quiche.
I like seeing what you're cooking Lora - I also love a theme and multiple dishes.
I also made Goat's spicy noodles with a crispy fried egg - delish but D has requested less sichuan pepper next time as I doubled up when I remembered I had both red and green, and wanted to try the green. Fair enough really as the ma la was pretty intense!

I'm quite pleased with it for a first attempt. It was the BBC Good Food recipe.

Fab looking food. I'm not normally a quiche fan bit that looks amazing.
That salad looks lovely and fresh. Aldi have new flavours of falafels in stock. The beetroot ones are amazing.

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

The salad and quiche really do look appetising, it's getting to that change in diet time of year. We're having stew tonight just to get it out of the freezer as I'm going off heavy winter meals.

They really do look good. You’re right, kiwi. I made beef bourguignon tonight for dinner, mostly to use up beef from the freezer, but also because were shifting away from those meals. It was tasty but not photogenic.

I made roasted bns with wild garlic risotto this evening which was lovely and South Indian chicken meatball curry last night which was also very nice but doesn’t look great.

Stews and casseroles never photograph well and this is no exception but damn this is sooooo good. It’s a flemish style carbonnade (or stoofvlees) made with seitan instead of beef. Served of course, Belgian style, with chips.

Serving something like that with chips is sheer genius.
