Pancakes for dinner. Socca (chickpea pancakes) and harissa lamb stew.

Completely agree! I really want to know more about your cheesy rice creation - how was it?

Really tasty. It was literally just a tablespoon of flour, 1 egg, about a cup of leftover basmati rice plus maybe 30g of cheddar. Loosened with a bit of milk. I microwaved the rice for a couple of mins beforehand so that it was all quick to cook.

I've got a great mental movie of Cos roaming the kitchen, liquidising whatever she finds, and frying it in a pancake shape :))

Today’s lunch: turbot with a bacon, pea, lentil and lettuce braise.

The pan wasn’t hot enough when I put the fish into it, so I missed out on a lot of caramelisation. It tasted lovely though. Next time!

This is not particularly far from the truth :mog:

Turbot is the best fish I think.

I love turbot too.

I had harissa roasted salmon with giant couscous.

I planned in this risotto to use up some SDTs but P has been eating them on the quiet so I had to buy more.

Anyway, BNS, spinach and sun dried tomato risotto with pine nuts. It was bloody lovely.

Sundried tomatoes are lush though so I can’t blame him.

I made Himalayan cheese on toast for lunch. Served with loads of mango chutney. Beab made me crave it from the weekend thread.
