I think so (?) but the chocolate has been ruined anyway so you’re not missing out there!

They aren’t difficult to make, Est.

HCBs, I mean. I wouldn’t attempt a creme egg :))

I’ve been eating the truffle cheddar that Tesco sells, that’s pretty good too.

Not sure if you get this shop in England but I recently found this- someone like Waitrose or John Lewis must sell something similar

It is so pungent!

Waitrose definitely has cep powder but I haven't seen truffle powder. That's not to say they don't have it. I haven't been in for ages.

Recommend these people, I was looking for some wild garlic seasoning mix as my local store had stopped selling it, and found them. I’ve bought five different seasoning mixes to try, and they all came so beautifully packaged.

We had the mushroom umami mix in with some pasta last night and it was delicious.

They do a truffle salt:-

I have recently discovered this - essentially it’s nutella, but made with pistachios, not hazelnuts (and not chocolate :)) ). It is divine…

A local bakery sells that, and they use it in their croissants. I've tried so hard to forget it exists...

Talking of Nutella, I picked up a jar of Nutella + cocoa today https://www.ocado.com/products/nutella- ... lsrc=aw.ds

Not tried it so not necessarily a recommendation at the moment.

I bought it for monk so cut off a corner of his toast last night. I’m with you, Cos. It wasn’t all that. I would like to sample it on a crumpet which is my preferred vessel for transporting Nutella to my face to properly ascertain its worth.
