I need to get those chocolate pancakes.

I'm a bit addicted to these.

Ooooh I wonder if they taste a bit like those chocolate and cherry trifles M&S used to do years ago.

I bought a new cherry thing too - Belazu sour cherry molasses. I haven't seen it before and loads of Belazu products were on offer on the end of an aisle on Waitrose so I couldn't resist. I'm not sure what I'll make with it but am thinking dressings and marinades.

It's annoying and weird that we don't get all the Bonne Maman stuff here  Or maybe you need to be in bigger or posher supermarket.

ETA No, not even on the BM French site :(

That is strange! Maybe we Brits have pussified French stuff that isn't suitable for actual France. Like our pussified curries. ;)

Sour cherry molasses sounds interesting!

I was looking forward to different Bonne Maman stuff in France and was a bit disappointed.

I did bring back orangina Hairbo though and some organic, vegan sweets that come in the shape of the Eiffel Tower, croissants and red wine

Recently I have discovered Hu chocolate, that my Pilates teacher gave us all.

And also Café Direct São Tomé hot chocolate. It’s a just add water one but tastes like a proper hot chocolate.

Is it a croissant in the shape of a loaf, does it come in different flavours?

It’s croissant dough but baked in a loaf tin rather than shaped into a crescent.

I saw one of those recently in a Crouch End bakery, but it was £9 and I was too mean. I feel now like I might not have done the right thing.
