This one was £6 which felt like great value compared to the price of the pastries. It did 4 of us for breakfast for 2 days!

It looks good. A pot of jam on the side :llips:

It does look good. £6 is definitely ok, £9 not so much!

I bought a pack of Mentos Rainbow to reach the minimum spend at the supermarket the other day.

The flavours are great, including green apple, watermelon, grape, blackcurrant, and grapefruit. Also they're vegan.

Oooh what did I have recently that was weirdly nice? M&S breaded olives to bake in the oven. They were brilliant.

Those sound fantastic! I must seek them out. My giant M&S vanilla pavlova was a mega disappointment though. It was impossible to cut and powdery all the way through. No chew at all

Oh no, that does sound horrible! Not cheap either I'm sure!

The olives are fantastic. So moreish.

Ooh, I fancy breaded olives! I need to go to M&S tonight.

The meringue nests I bought were chewy but the big pavlova wasn’t. I loved the vanilla in it though.

The smaller meringue nests are so deliciously chewy and I assumed the the pavlova would be the same. I'd made vanilla whipped cream and roasted rhubarb and strawberries, placed it on my cake stand and it looked amazing but was SO disappointing.

I'm going to have to make it into some kind of eton mess to soften it up.
