That's really tickled me. I'm using up Brexit coconut milk right now to make chia puddings for breakfast. I've already moved my cans of coconut milk twice, and I refuse to do it again

How did it go, Goat?

I've got these crackers in the oven now: https://www.thespruceeats.com/seeded-so ... rs-4163566

Ooh, they sound lovely. Did you use the same seeds?

My bread was on an overnight prove, I'm going to put the oven on now.

They are ready! They are nice. Quite worthy-tasting. I'm going to have some with tomato soup for lunch.

I ground flaxseeds for the meal (I assume that's right) and then added sesame and sunflower seeds.

They look great!

My bread is in the oven, lid off now, and was looking good when the lid came off. :disco:

Good alien burst, maybe a bit too dark but the cover of Tartine has bread as dark as that. Now just to wait for it to cool so I can reveal its innards.

My scoring patterns leave a lot to be desired but I can live with that. :))

Currently eating with some Slipcote and some beetroot I pickled last week. Better crust than last week and more tang, which could be the whey or the starter being more mature. This is the best so far. :love2:

The bread and crackers look amazing.

I’ve just made some crumpets. My starter isn’t staying warm enough - it’s 13.8 degrees celsius in here right now - so activity is not as it could be. So not very holey but the texture and taste was good.

They look delicious! You could try keeping it in a cool bag. That's what I used to do last time around.

I'm going to make bread with mine this weekend, hopefully, and I'm also planning some Parmesan crackers.

Thank you! :))

Hmm, I don't think I've got a cool bag but maybe I could wrap some bubble wrap around the tub?! Like a plant pot in winter.

Oh they look lovely! Did you find them ok to make? I remember you have made normal crumpets before so you have previous when it comes to them not sticking.

Really quick and easy. Brushed the rings with oil. Waited 'til they were set around the edges and top, then used a butter knife to skim around the edges of the rings to ensure no sticking points, lifted the rings off then flipped the crumpets.

I might have a go at crumpets as well then. I've made not sourdough ones before and they didn't turn out too well. They didn't stick but the texture wasn't that great. The mix sounds so easy to make from the discard so it would be a great thing to master!
