Show Us Your Food
I couldn't find a food photo thread so I assume we don't have a current one.
I was offloading our trip photos so had a few to share; some home made and some restaurant.
Mr J's lasagne and a delicious veinson and cranberry pie in Lochinver

Re: Show Us Your Food
We went for a posh meal on the second night of our road trip as we'd intended on a pub meal but the pub in the village we were staying close to but it wasn't serving food that evening so we drove back to Wick.
My starter and main course and Mr J's steak. And my black pudding risotto with proper local to my parents black pudding.

Beef enchiladas by Mr J. He's never made these before but they were excellent.
And a curry feast by my brother with my first attempt at saag paneer. My sil made the raita.

That all looks great. Did you get to stock up on Tunnocks when you were over?

That all looks delicious!
I've always preferred a snowball over a teacake *controversial*
Below - afternoon tea at a country house, amazing ramen and a Sunday roast:

I'm never sure if we're OK to do this now there's such a fine line between our dinners, instagrammed avocado and slop on Facebook. ![grin :))](./images/smilies/xiggrin.gif)
Anyway, my lunch was very tasty. A combination of leftovers of palak paneer, the coconut and apple salad, and cauli coconut cream thing, and jeera pilaf. You may judge whether it was photogenic.

It looks nice! What's the drink? And did you have to crack a coconut to make the salad?

The drink is strawberry & raspberry cordial.
I just bought a pack of coconut chunks and chopped them up a bit.

Re: Show Us Your Food
That sounds like a sensible way to do it. The recipe already seemed like a lot of work! I will try to join the thread. I haven't taken pics of my own food for ages.

Re: Show Us Your Food
I will join with last nights spring chicken miso soup (badly presented due to my bowls being too small for the appropriate amount of broth and also due to wine consumed while cooking
)
And some smoked salmon (I did trout too but forgot to take a picture) and a smoked pork butt pre pulling

I have been wanting to show you my tiramisu for a while too. It had rave reviews, twice. One person did think it was healthy when I told her I got the recipe from a cardiothoracic surgeon. ![grin :))](./images/smilies/xiggrin.gif)

No, though I'm not sure where...most likely amazon or zulily. Lots of places sell them here. They are bear claws.

I've got some but I've never used them. I probably need to buy a massive smoker or something to go with them. ![yes ](./images/smilies/xes.gif)

Pip, the tiramisu looks amazing! I have a huge weakness for it. Would you be able to share the recipe?
