I am coming to eat with you this week Beab.

I’m planning day by day but tomorrow is Mowgli mother butter chicken and chat bombs.

The girls like those hotdogs, Bean. They didn’t much like you in a hotpot though.

I am heading to Wendy's for the week. :ready: I'm intrigued by butter tofu, I can't decide if it's going to be well fat (butter) or healthful.

Well it will be plant based spread rather than butter. Its from my new vegetarian Indian instant pot recipe book. It’s butter paneer and the author suggests subbing with tofu. We shall see!

I'm slightly addicted to tofu at the moment, so I'm interested in the results.

That all sounds great. Have you ever tried aquafaba Yorkshire puddings? I don’t know if they’re even a thing.

I haven’t had much luck with aquafaba, though I’ve been trying meringues rather than Yorkshire puddings.

I have a recipe that uses SR flour and baking powder that isn’t terrible. They’re not quite the same though!

I think my favourite was the leek crumble, though the gnocchi was nice and Sproglette even ate it whilst banging on about her 5 a day.

This week is a bit weird due to visitors/heading off for a few days so loathe to buy much fresh stuff.

Pork chops/nut cutlets, roast potatoes, veg
Red tofu slow-cooked ribs, chinese-style vegetable curry, egg fried rice, frozen picky stuff (spring rolls, wontons, etc)
Beef/mushroom fajitas
Back up meal of burgers, if needed

Have you made your own seitan yet Wendy ?

Holland and Barrett now sell the vital wheat gluten so I'm going to give it a go

I used to make it years ago

That mac and cheese and greens looked so good
