Why is it funny? :)) I was intrigued by the intense orange colour. I thought it might be a bit like that weird fudge-y Scandinavian cheese (it's not).

I need to get back into this because I've been winging it for ages and it's not working. It doesn't help that lately whenever I've tried to cook anything that isn't a staple or very easy, I've ruined it. Chickpeas that just wouldn't cook, beans that boiled dry, toasted almonds that I burnt TWICE.

To ease myself back in, instead of a normal roast chicken, I did pot roasted chicken with a mustard sauce and it worked out. So tomorrow is leftover chicken and something. Maybe tortilla.

I'm going to take inspiration from Ken and do kofta as I had some really good ones in a Spanish bar last week. Just need to find a couple of meat-free options then I'm good.

I have some new ideas!

Pumpkin mac and "cheese" https://thehappypear.ie/recipes/pumpkin_macandcheese/
Slow-cooked chicken with a crisp corn crust https://ottolenghi.co.uk/recipes/slow-c ... corn-crust
Sausages, mash and sauteed veg
Lamb ragu
Chill with rice

Most of those will have enough leftovers for lunches too.
