Epp, I loosely used this recipe: https://www.features.natoora.com/all/otp-tomos-parry I mean the recipe itself is loose :ella: I basically wrapped asparagus (not pre-blanched) in the wild garlic leaves and poured a bit of the browned butter over. Serves with the burrata. Breadcrumbs would have been nice actually but I only had delicious fresh focaccia which I just ate with it instead. I will definitely roast garlic leaves again.

Is it ramp season in Seattle?

Ohh, lovely thanks! I missed the market last weekend but think it might be a tiny bit early for ramps up here. But I’ll be on the lookout for it this weekend.

I’ve had this before but it’s so nice. Rice, smoked tofu, kidney beans, sweet potato, kale and spring onion with a miso dressing.

What was it meant to be Wendy? I'd eat it - warm pastry! :ready:

Bean rolls - blitzed mixed beans and sweetcorn in pastry. That’s one of two before slicing. I’ve packed a fork with the others for our picnic

It’s quite tasty (I used mixed beans in tomato sauce rather than one that has green beans) but left out the paprika.

I'd eat it too.

We had a mini cheese fest and I had cheap, weak cocktails 🤣

Brambs you’re not alone, I read a review of canned drinks the other day, at least one of the journalists was very unimpressed by how weak most of them are. The cans look so promising too!

I second the M&S ones. And that spread looks lovely, Brambs.

Pip has prompted me to put the two M&S porn star martinis (8%) I've got in the cupboard into the fridge.

I’m letting Squeak have an M&S bramble gin tin with me in the garden. :mumoftheyear:

is the bramble one nice? I'm not keen on this porn star one. I think it's fine to let a teen have the odd drink (and I'm about to give Monk my other tin of porn star). I bought Monk a bottle of vodka for xmas, and get him to make me cocktails if I can't be bothered.

I think that is a lovely mum thing to do! I’d have absolutely loved it at her age.

The bramble is lovely. Tastes like pop and you can get very drunk on two.

I'm going to ditch this martini and make one! Fuck it, I feel like getting mildly tipsy at least.

Is Squeak 13? The idea of giving G alcohol in a couple of years makes me feel really weird!
