Churros!

We binned the bosh dough and did a different recipe, which worked. This batch is when we could still be arsed with the star shaped nozzle.

Yes. That’s the cinammon sugar plate for rolling. That was Elvis’s job.

I love that your kids are so involved with cooking. My mother had no interest in it and I was clueless about food when I left home. The bread rolls they did are fantastic.

I've gone a bit pasta mad recently.

Linguine with smoked salmon and chives, and (under all the parmesan) casarecce with Italian sausage ragu.

Linguine with roasted tomatoes, mascarpone and rocket, and pappardelle with pancetta, leeks and cavolo nero.

We had an indoor picnic at lunchtime, then a below-par Thai green curry.
