S has been stuck in isolating and missed all the Christmas fun at school, so I said we could do some baking.

Nigellas Christmas rocky road and peanut butter cups from her Christmas book, and a gingerbread house (which was just a kit I got delivered from Amazon but it was pretty good!)

I’ve just been and looked and it’s F&F so that’s tesco isn’t it? I didn’t buy it this year though, I think that’s last years jumper.

Oh is it penguins C likes Squizz? Not a jumper but I got S these Christmas penguin pjs also from tesco this year, there fleecy and lovely and soft (and wash really well too at the risk of sounding like my mum!)

They’re better in real life (my photos very dark!) They’re light grey with snowflakes on and he’s wearing a sparkly gold crown.

They are gorgeous too. She’s not a penguinphile specifically but I can just tell she would love that jumper. And the PJs!

Also I think I’m being a bit nostalgic for her favourite pink snowman jumper that she squeezed into for years until it was comedically small :)).

I made Ottolenghi brussel sprout risotto with dolcelatte for dinner. It was so festive and delicious and also pretty straightforward for an Ottolenghi recipe :)). Love the lemon and tarragon in it.
