Oooo. That sounds lovely. I would also be sceptical about the grapes. Do you think they're essential?

I fancied cooking yesterday so made nigellas lasagne of love from Cook,Eat,Repeat. It really is a labour of love and took a couple of hours to make but it was totally worth it. Genuinely the nicest lasagne either I or Mr have eaten.

I even managed to completely follow the recipe for once! (Although some steps in it seem bizarre!) only substituting oregano for the parsley as I’m not keen on parsley)

That looks great. I love a homemade lasagne, and have to use a whole afternoon to do it justice! I go tend to make 6kg at a time, so it is worth it.

It really was amazing. I can’t really explain why if you know what I mean but it was gorgeous, even mr who claims to be the lasagne king (only thing he could cook when I met him) said that’s way better than mine by miles.

It is a bit labour intensive but I was in the mood to potter so it was perfect, and I’m pleased I’ve finally made something from that book, I read a lot of nigellas books but rarely cook from them.

Oh and it was HUGE. We have four portions in the freezer as we couldn’t eat again tonight if we wanted to actually fasten clothing tomorrow 😂

Enjoy your lasagne pip! I’m aiming to perfect chilli next so may be looking for tips!

Tiramisu. Not the best photo but it shows the layers. It was so good!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Tiramisu is my favourite dessert, I can smell the chocolate and booze from here. :))

Disco inspired me to use a preserved lemon in my pasta. I was using up some grated courgette and Greek-style crumbles too.

Also, broccauliflower cheese and today’s pancakes.
