Yet another curry. I got carried away so this one had a nags chilli, two birds eyes, a couple of long dried chillis and a couple of normal chillis too :ready:

Of course!

I still cannot do curry at home. I made one last weekend, and whilst it is nice it's not the madras that I was led to believe.

I will carry on trying though.

I got some Tastesmiths packs and they were good, and better after freezing the results. I'd recommend giving them a go. Also are you adding plenty of salt, oil and a stock cube? I find that makes all the difference.

Cheers, I'll take a look. I rarely use a stock cube, that's something to think about.

Heebs commitment to the chili is truly marvelous. And the curry and everything else looks delicious (though I’ve no doubt the curry would have me sweating and calling for a lassi :)) )

I had more wholesome pizza dough to use up. The toppings look better as I got some mozz but I didn’t stretch enough so the middle was a bit thick/doughy. Had to go back in the oven for a bit. Anyway, I feel I am at least learning what not to do each time!

I made a worthy but tasty lunch today, inspired by a ‘power bowl’ I got off a sinker market deli counter a couple of weeks ago. It’s basically grain (quinoa) + chickpeas and some veg in a lemony turmeric dressing. Plus houmous.

That curry looks amazing but would have me running for the milk!

Prompted by Ken's thread - nothing revolutionary but fridge bottom roasted veg, olive, avocado, honey roast ham and pea shoot salad. Nice change from my usual sandwich / bagel.

Black pudding "salad". 8/10, next time I'd add bacon.

Is that tortilla pip? The tomatoes look gorgeous.

Inspired by you and the fact that s is in school for a week from today, I cooked today for tonight. I’ve made beef and pork koftas (they’re a bit big and messy and obviously as yet uncooked) with garlic, onion, oregano, cumin, coriander, and mint with some chilli flakes through them. I made my own tzatziki with dill, mint, garlic and lemon juice and it’s gorgeous if I do say so myself. I’ve also made a tomato and onion salad with loads of basil as a leaf (our greengrocers has brilliant herbs fresh and really cheap) I’ve made a balsamic and olive oil dressing ready to pour over with salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar. We have wraps but I might skip them given the size of the kebabs.

That salad looks so fresh and lovely. As do Pip's tomatoes :ready: I'd love to be on holiday right now, eating tomato salad and drinking white wine from a carafe at an outdoor table.
