Some brilliant bread on the last page! Smal that loaf looks incredible and cheese and onion bread sounds very comforting.
I would have a go on this poppers, baa. The frying looks very professional too.
In a completely different direction, I finally tackled one of my lockdown goal recipes which was marshmallows. Basic vanilla entry level stuff. Yes I staged them
They turned out ok I think, although I would have liked them to be a bit puffier/lighter. Also it was my first time working with gelatin and it turns out it smells like a pigsty to me, which is really appetizing when cooking :vom: I’d try it again but would definitely like to find a different kind of gelatin (maybe the sheets, I was using powder) and ideally use vanilla bean paste (I couldn’t find any).

They are pretty Epp. How did they taste? I once made Turkish delight with gelatin and chucked the whole slab in the bin with it tasting it, as the smell was so awful.

I'd love some jalapeno poppers
The marshmallows are so pretty, Epp. The smell sounds hideous though - can you use a vegetarian alternative?

They look great Epp but I knew I was against gelatine for a reason. The description of the smell is so awful.

They look great! I love the stars. I’m tempted to make some, my daughter loves marshmallow.
I’ve used leaf gelatine* and there was no bad smell as far as I can remember.

The poppers were rolled in milk and flour several times. With drying time in between each layer. That appeared to help em stick.

You might have got a bad batch- P's done marshmallows a few times with powdered and leaf gelatin (for different times, not together) and we've never had a smell?

As mentioned on another thread, I made potato ‘risotto’ aka pototto. Ha ha ha.
I’m glad I gave it a bash but it’s not amazing.
