No, because they are the M&S luxury fruited ones and I decided against. The recipe said to do marmalade and marzipan but I thought it might be overkill.

No, as I’m probably taking it into work and my colleague has a nut allergy. But also because I was lazy and couldn’t be bothered. Again, it felt like a step too far. Maybe if they’d been rubbish HCBs and needed zhuzhing up.

Looks great, Disco. I made this on Tuesday night for my veggie mum visiting. It went down well with all of us, and SO easy. I forgot to get a pic, though. I'll definitely make it again - thanks EmmaP.

Emma brings great recipes here.

It's great isn't it. Monk never eats cauliflower really - or at least doesn't enjoy it - but he also raves about this galette.

Yes, it’s so good! J was a bit sniffy about it beforehand but he loved it too.

Last night we made pasta stuffed with butternut squash and ricotta with a crispy sage and butter sauce. It was really nice but so filling. Earlier in the week we had zesty haddock (really nice and crispy) with a caper, chive and lemon sauce.

Thanks! They were really tasty. I’ve just eaten lasagne from the freezer and I’m so full.

I finished the leftover creme fraiche to make a rhubarb upside down cake. I think I'm going to have a lot of rhubarb this year :))

Yes! I found a rhubarb thread on here and saw you'd recommended it. It's so good. If I use creme fraiche in other recipes I always end up with masses left, so this is perfect!

I thought I recognised the caramelised top :) The creme fraiche in the cake batter is really good.

I know it looks like it fell on a forest floor  but this salmon with anchovy, wild garlic & caper butter was delicious. The charred florets of the broccoli soaked up the butter and were amazing.

It fell apart when I removed from the air fryer. It should’ve been a nice fillet.

That looks so fresh and delicious, Disco.

And the pudding sounds so tasty. Strawberry and rhubarb is such a good combo.

I’ve never really understood what “crisp” is. Is like like a crumble?
