I know what you mean, Morgs. Often I think it’s best just to have a slightly smaller portion of a normal thing, maybe with a side that’s super low calorie, like a salad or something. I don’t think I’ve ever had gurnard, Goat, but that looks nice.

I also used up leftovers. A kind of ham carbonara with peas.

This looks so tasty. I forgot about carbonara and may need to make some.

It was good. I'm sure an Italian wouldn't consider it a carbonara, but I prefer it with some vegetables through. This was the recipe I used:

This is proper fridge clear out food: red gurnard with tomatoes, garlic, capers, spinach and whatever else needed eating, and a slaw made with malingering sprouts.

For me a fridge clear out would normally be elderly yoghurt, geriatric eggs and somewhat bendy carrots

I was being silly really but we do jokingly refer to it as that. We do a work standup every morning and then my housemate E and I talk about what else we need to do that day including what's for dinner.
