I thought it was a sweet cake (I only did drizzle, not icing), so I *wouldn't* do the drizzle if I was doing lime buttercream. I'm no drizzle expert though.

it works well with the buttercream. perfect with a cup of tea, for breakfast. ;)

I've just come home from a weekend at S's and there's one piece here that's just the right size for me and George to share. I'm waiting for my kettle to boil so I can make a pot of tea :granny:

Absley - did you take a photo of the lime buttercream version?

The frosting is such a nice colour against the blueberries. Primrose yellow - most spring-like :yes:

Inspired by abs I made an experimental lime yoghurt icing for my remaining piece which was pretty good.

That looks fantastic. Mine was a lot soggier, I wonder if I should have left it in the oven a bit longer. Still tasted mighty fine though.
