Is it funny? I have just had a look at it on iTunes and it looks good. I was giving it a swerve as I had been reading some Feminist stuff recently and it was just making me feel bad all the time. I mean I shit on the patriarchy and everything but it can be a bit depressing being continually lambasted for not being intersectional enough.

Yes, very funny. One of the hosts, Sofie Hagan, is a Danish comedian and is great but she has recently left the podcast. The other one is a comedian too.

Do you know why she left, Is? I Googled but couldn't find a reason so maybe it's a quick break. They're in Melbourne right now, I think.

Yes, it's funny. Can be a bit worthy in parts but no worse than we can be here :)). They start every episode with "I'm a feminist, but ..." confessions of awful things they have done.

She has started her own podcast called Made of Human (I've only listened to one episode so far) and I think she just got more popular and busier in her own right.

This was her announcement on the Guilty Feminist Facebook group. I used to follow it but it was a bit militant for me.

I've been dithering with myself over going to their Leadership Conference in May (I know, who do I think I am :))?). That's probably for a different thread though.

I haven't listened to that one yet but it's on the list. The issue I have with podcasts is that I listen to them when I'm trying to fall asleep, but they just get me all riled up and adrenaline-y. So basically I'm quite stupid :)).That or they make me wake up laughing, like the News Quiz.

(Do you think anybody goes to those conferences on their own? Have I just failed the entry test?)

You want Radio 4 classic dramas for falling asleep to :) .

I've been listening to bittersweetlife recommended upthread - after the first few episodes I jumped ahead to US election night. Uncomfortable but compelling listening - really brought back the shock, anguish and anxiety of that night.

This got a good write up in the Guardian, I've listened to the first 5mins and it seemed good.
Has anyone listened to this? I've listened to 5 episodes.

It does kind of make me feel uncomfortable. I wondered if anyone else had listened and had thoughts on it?

I've been listening to it. I like it, I'm intrigued enough to keep listening (I think I've done four episodes). But I know what you mean about uncomfortable - it does feel intrusive at times.

I've been listening to lots of the Mortified podcast thanks to this thread. I listened to a very funny one the other night about Duran Duran.

Yes, I've got one left (next week) to listen to, so I'll carry on. But he's clearly alive and there's really no evidence this is anything other than a choice. He doesn't really owe anyone anything.

The Dollop dud an episode about Uber recently which I listened to today, it's fascinating. I mean I know they weren't a great company but oh my GOD. I implore you all to listen!
