I am loving the music in Bridgerton :))
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I just finished Bridgerton and really enjoyed it. Some of the dialogue clanged a bit but I got on board quickly enough.

I watched this earlier and like you I really wanted to enjoy it, but it just kept annoying me.

I enjoyed Bridgerton (just finished it) but had somehow managed to blank out some of the more ludicrous plot elements from my memories of reading the book, which was probably about 10 years ago.

The books follow each of the siblings in turn, so I’m interested in whether they see this as a long term thing with (at least) 8 series - there have been a couple of offshoot book series on adjacent families - and anticipate retaining the child actors through to complete their own romance stories too. It’s quite ambitious, if so.

Bridgerton is getting more and more ridiculous. I love it.

I am saving Bridgerton until I have wine, chocolate and a completely free day.

I'm watching Black Mirror Death to 2020 right now which is simultaneously hysterical and terrifying.

I read something, somewhere, about them hoping to wheel out a new series every Christmas so it becomes a seasonal tradition.

I finished it yesterday. So much fun whilst so much nonsense!

I’ve just watched Knives Out (film, Prime rather than Netflix) and I would recommend it, if you fancy watching a Cluedo-ish murder with Daniel Craig, Toni Colette, Jamie Lee Curtis and various other big names.

It's a great film! I hope they make a sequel.

I’m up to episode 6 on bridgerton or burger tin as my phone wanted to call it. I’m loving the music too like morganna. They’ve shoehorned current hits in in a classical way.

I watched it all the other day and while it infuriated me, it was no hardship to look at.

And that there are still 'victims' out there completely unaware of the manipulation and close blood relatives.

I just couldn't believe they could justify keeping the records sealed.

Prime rather than Netflix, but I watched Palm Springs which is a Groundhog Day-esque movie with Andy Samberg ( :flirt: ) and it’s pretty good.

I’ve binged Cobra Kai series 3 and finished the final of Sabrina. I’m sad the latter has ended but it went out on a high.
