We've just finished Trial 4 too, Sal.

This is an Apple TV suggestion - is there a separate thread I should be on?

Anyway, S made me watch it and I expected to get bored but I actually loved it. The premise is an alternative timeline of the space race where the US aren't the first on the moon. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_All ... TV_series)

I think we've watched 5, with 4 to go - I like it.

I enjoyed it, if that's the right word! He seemed like such a nice man.

I have Trial 4 on my list but thought it would leave me with existential despair - can you reassure me that it won't, Shoe?

Yes! Much more gracious than I would have been. I hate the ex-cops, they are such wankers "maybe Mulligan was a crook, I dunno, I never saw it" :ella:

I cannot. I found it less upsetting than others I've watched but I think that's more due to being so used to the amazingly corrupt justice system in the US rather than it being less upsetting than other similar programmes.

 Thank you for your honesty. I'll give it a swerve for now!

I genuinely don't know why it's taken me so long but I'm half way through the first season of Better Call Saul which is JUST what I needed.

I'm really enjoying it so far! I have quite the soft spot for Saul as a character and it's in no way as grim as Breaking Bad. Quite slow moving, I watched the first episode ages ago and it did nothing for me, but I've got more time to binge these days: thank you lockdown. So far the only crossover character I've seen is Mike, although obv I've got 4.5 seasons to go. :))

Mr P loves Better Call Saul - he's ended up watching it on his own as I didn't get into it after the first couple of episodes though. I wish I'd given it more of a chance now.

I have such a weird crush on Mike. :love2:

I had forgotten most of Breaking Bad by the time we watched Better Call Saul and knew I was missing all sorts of points that kind of rang a bell but not quite. There are more crossover characters to come though. :disco:

Quite a few others will turn up, lazzbo! I'm gutted we're through it.

 Is it the gruffness?

I've probably forgotten most of Breaking Bad too but it doesn't seem to impinge on the fun for now. I'm excited to see who else pops up though! It's also quite a nice thought to have so many episodes to go, I have watched some new stuff but I've also re-watched stuff for comfort. I don't know what's going to happen here, it's ever so exciting.

Gruff and solid and loyal and quietly capable. He'd take himself off to fix my guttering without being asked while keeping a weather eye on Moo and there'd be no theatrics about it. :love2:

Not remembering did not impinge on my fun either, but I think I'd have got a whole new level of fun out of it if I had actually understood more. :))

HA! I had not pictured you strolling into the sunset with Mike and Moo, but there we are. That's 2020 for you: full of surprises.

Perhaps I should go back and rewatch all of Breaking Bad. The to do list grows longer every day. :))

I LOVE Better Call Saul, the characters and relationships are so fantastically done. It's much more poignant when you know how they end up in Breaking Bad, but also less awful and bleak to watch. Mike is definitely the best  .

I also gave up on BCS after a few episodes. I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I should give it another try at some point.
