Agreed!

Took Hazey's advice and watched Twin Flames. Oh wow, what a creepy couple they are and I'm horrified that so many remain sucked in by them.

Just finished watching the last episodes of Virgin River. Such a lovely, feel-good series. Exactly what I needed after a super busy week.

I might have to start Netflix again. I really want to see Twin Flames (and lots of other stuff).

Leave the World Behind.

Leave this film behind. Honestly. It was over 2 hours and nothing happened. All the characters are flawed to the point where you’d cheer if they die. There are no answers. Huge plot holes and the ending is ridiculous.

I’ve gone in and started the Beckham thing. It’s pretty good. Also I’ve never been a big fan of his look but he’s ageing pretty well :flirt:

I agree Kleio. I kept watching to see if it would get any better or if it would begin to make sense.

Neither scenarios happened for me.

I totally agree Kleio, it was awful. It reminded me a bit of Signs where nothing happened and then the ending was terrible. Avoid!

The Beckham series made me very nostalgic.

The Beckham series was good, but I hated him by the end.

I thought it was very sanitised. It was nostalgic from a football point of view though.

He didn’t get painted in a great light by the end of it but he was a fantastic footballer.

The nostalgia for the 90s is what’s grabbing me just now.

Yes, back to a time when I used to be genuinely confident that we could still win even if we were losing after the 89th minute. :)) Those were the days!

I watched Wellmania over the weekend which was thoroughly enjoyable. Really funny but with some tender moments too.

I'm now watching My Life With the Walter Boys which is OK. Filled with stereotypes and with a mum who has had 7 kids but looks amazing. Fine for a bit of mindless viewing.

I did find the Beckham documentary interesting, I always assumed he didn’t have an affair at the time, but given that this was his chance to put the record straight and emphatically deny it happened, which he didn’t, now I assume it did happen, which is disappointing.

I think it did happen, but his media machine did everything to hide that and seemed happy for RL to be hounded and vilified.

I've never doubted that he had that affair. I hate them both so I have given the documentary a wide berth.

He’s had more than one affair if rumours are true.

i watched the end of the world thing, and thought it was ok. I didn't understand the end, but I'm not sure that we were supposed to.

I also watched Where The Crawdads Sing, and enjoyed that.

It was so good. And the current situation seems insoluble.
