We watched The Family Switch last night which was very silly and a total remake of Freaky Friday/13 going on 30 etc but it had Jennifer Garner in it who I love (such pretty hair and dimples!) and it was totally watchable.

After watching the wholesome My Life With the Walter Boys, I am now watching the very unwholesome Shameless. I haven't decided if I'm enjoying it or if it makes me a bit sad.

I had a huge Robbie crush in 1998 and still enjoyed this. Agree about the comments on his missing trousers, and I think it must be devastating to burn so brightly and then not be able to find it again when you think you’re ready. The X Factor performance was grim, it was interesting seeing him admit he couldn’t connect when it was so obvious on screen too.

I watched Saltburn yesterday which I think is in Prime. That is a weird film.

I don't know what possessed us to watch this after your scathing review. Maybe just the novelty of streaming Netflix on our new, quicker broadband here, in France. It was godawful. Completely agree about wishing them all dead.

I'm watching One Night, which is quite good. It's an Australian series with Jodie Whittaker and Nicole de Silva (Frankie in Wentworth). It's about an author who writes a 'novel' based on a traumatic incident that happened when they were teenagers. They are all adults now and the story is about the repercussions of the story coming out in a small town. I'm only on episode 2, but it's shaping up well. I think it might be on Prime though.

They Cloned Tyrone is really really good. The title and the trailer make it look nonsensical but it's a really interesting film.

I think I was hoping for an old style epic and what was delivered was wooden acting, ancient Britons speaking French, magic fucking swords, ghosts and more ham than the gammon I cooked on NYD.

I’m not sure if I enjoyed it but there’s a new documentary out about Waco and David Koresh which was very interesting, and has new footage and interviews with the survivors and the FBI.
