Ta - I’ve had the first one downloaded for a couple of months and haven’t got round to it yet, I’ll bump it up my list.

We’ve just caught up with this, and really loved it - such a funny pair together, with some fab cameos!

just finished Escape At Dannemora (Sky Atlantic - I watched it on Now TV). Gritty, slow moving prison break drama based on real life events in 2015, with an excellent Benicio del Toro and his basilisk gaze, Paul Dano and Patricia Arquette. Loved it, but made me feel quite grubby. It's so closely based on real life that there's a lot of background material online if you like that kind of thing.

Ooh, I'm interested as I lived near Dannemora and went past it all the time. It feels weird for it to be a tv thing.

It must feel a bit weird, probably ethically debatable too - some of the main characters still live in the town and at least one (Joyce Mitchell, who Arquette plays) was really unhappy about it being made, for reasons that become clear if you watch it. It's also directed by Ben Stiller, which I was surprised by for some reason.

The Deceived on Channel 5 (I know!) was good.

This Country (BBC3) is brilliant.

We just started watching this last night, so thanks for the recommendation. I know what you mean about it being grubby!

In my Skin. iPlayer. So heartbreaking and moving but funny and real. I loved it. Only 5 episodes so it seemed to finish abruptly, though it might not be finished, if that makes sense.

There's a lot of c wording if that may be a problem.

That's OK - the C word is practically grammar where we live! But thank you for the heads up.

Mrs America was SO good. I nearly didn't watch it in case it wound me up. I did cry quite a lot :uhh: but god, I liked it.

I'm only just catching up on this. It's utterly terrifying but it does explain a lot. John Major and Max Moseley are coming out as the unlikely heroes. I'm hoping one of the Murdoch children turns out to have some ethics, but it's unlikely.

I’ve been watching Harlots series 1 on Sky catch up, but my options for seasons 2 and 3 are limited to an additional paid channel via Amazon Prime Video called Starz-something, or I can buy season 2 outright on Prime Video (but not season 3).

Does anyone use Starz-whatsit, or any of the other add-on Amazon Prime Video content, and is it any good? I’ve been really enjoying the program but I don’t want to get locked into something shit just for the sake of watching the rest of it.

Hopefully those are extreme ones!

My old boss was hacked by NOTW and has promised to pass on a letter I'm writing to MM just saying I think he was brave as I am really affected by what happened to him for some sad reason.

Hippy, Harlots is available on iPlayer too I think as it's just started on the BBC.
