I binged all series of Friday Night Dinner over Easter last year and watched them again just after poor Paul Ritter died a few months ago. Channel 4 is currently airing a show about the series which is just delightful.

Yay! Now we get to the bit about Jim!

I love Tamsin Greig, I love her in pretty much anything with the exception of Tamara Drewe (which was utter shite, but I think she would have been good in it if I could be bothered to watch it)

I've forgotten her Handbag/ TMT name though it was something to do with a spider. She was best friends with Tamsin Greig at school.

I’ve just watched all episodes of Time on iplayer. It was excellent- harrowing but so brilliantly done. It did bring up a lot of feelings about how we have to continually pay for out of control men in this country and what a den of scumbags prison is.

I saw the first episode, but can't binge on iPlayer over here, so am looking forward to seeing the rest as they are screened. It wasn't an easy watch, but it was very good.

I watched the first episode of The Watch on iplayer last night. Its 'inspired' by the Terry Pratchet books. And I can safely say that I'm sure he's spinning in his grave. It is truly abysmal TV. Disjointed, weird, bizarre characters, no noticeable storyline.

Is anyone watching the new series of Handmaids tale? Last night was quite gruelling.

Yes. I watched much of it through my fingers and gasped out loud. I won’t say anymore but to spoil it.

When this was announced I was looking forward to it so much, until more details came out, so we'd decided to give a miss even before your review.

Such a disappointment Hobbes. I would stay away in case it ruins any Discworldisms for you

This series is really grim, is't it? I mean none of them have been easy watching, but this one is an actual ordeal. The final scenes of the last episode (with the Radiohead soundtrack) were very good though.
