I didn't bother starting it, as all the imdb reviews said the same.

Re: Film 2022
I thought it sounded like There will be Blood (long, boring, toxic male power games) and so skipped it, and nothing I have read about it has made me think that was the wrong choice.
We all saw Dr Strange and the Multiverse of Madness today and, bucking the trend, we all enjoyed it. It’s definitely a Sam Raimi movie - quite a lot of his schlock horror genre touches in there, and some things I really wasn’t expecting to see in a Marvel movie, but it’s very entertaining.

I found Power of the Dog a bit boring. But then I kept thinking about it, so retrospectively, not boring.

I saw it was a Western thing and decided it was a no.
I keep thinking back to Dr Strange and having loved Evil Dead at Uni, I’m revising my initial thoughts and deciding it was actually very cleverly done.
Benedict Cumberbatch is just so obviously a ginge that it’s hard to suspend disbelief when watching him pretending not to be.

They so clearly wanted Matthew McConaughey instead of Cumberbatch in that film (TPOTD).

I also saw downton this week and loved it (you won’t struggle Wendy there’s no massive sub plots or anything!) and I agree the costumes etc are gorgeous. I nearly didn’t go as I didn’t enjoy the first film at all, they all seemed like a parody of themselves abs the whole “for the honour of downton” thing in the first one was cringeworthy.
This just felt like a happy return to the characters and a gentle story which was exactly what I needed.
(I also cried Epp, and I’m not an emotional type at all )

I've been waiting very impatiently for Everything, Everywhere, All At Once to come out, and I bloody loved it - it's like a fever dream. (J hated it, the massive weirdo )

We watched Ghostbusters Afterlife last night and really enjoyed it. If we had paid to see it at the cinema there would have been no objections. Phoebe was a great character.

I watched Ghostbusters Afterlife on a flight and loved it and came home and made Mr O and the boys watch it immediately.
I cried during both viewings.

Really? I mean, Paul Rudd is obviously the best.. But although enjoyable, I would say it was just OK overall.

It's fair to say B probably enjoyed it a lot more than I did. And I will totally watch the next one with him.

Northman.
I was hoping for a history of Eric Northman and got some weird hallucinations, visions and men howling like wolves. I am very glad I watched it via Canada and didn’t pay for cinema tickets.
