I just caught up. I like Brogan, but it’s Annie for the win for me.

Brogan and her frills are beginning to grate on me. Sorry. She's good, though. I expect she'll be in the final.

I like Annie and I do like Brogan's effortless confidence.

Yeah, I like how calm Brogan always is. She's never had a complete disaster has she?

I like listening to her talk, she has such a nice voice, and I like how she has her big collar puff sleeve style. It’s not my style, but I think she does it incredibly well.

I can see Brogan doing well in something like teach your sewing show after this show. She always seems so calm and explains techniques well.

I like all of them that are left, any of them could win it for me.
I did feel sorry for Jill this week, but she has had a few sews fo a bit wrong, so it was the right decision - she was just so lovely and gracious about it though.

Oooh, 1930s! Lots of satin, I imagine.
ETA I'm not sure denim is the right fabric for 'elegant' bib-front 1930s trousers ...

Four hours was ridiculous for those trousers, especially with all those buttons and buttonholes.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

The timings are just bonkers for what they’re trying to make. Even I know this. My grandma was a hugely experienced dressmaker and she wouldn’t be able to do that in that time.

I'm also, supposedly, an experienced 'professional' dressmaker (not that I make very much anymore), but I certainly wouldn't be able to make half the things the contestants do, in the time.

I think it would take me 4 hours just to cut out those trousers.

Annie's dress was amazing. In an alternate universe where I'm tall and willowy, I'd wear that in a heartbeat.

I think it was a shock for Brogan to do so badly this week. I'm glad she stayed in.
Annie's dress was beautiful and I think Man Yee is so good. I loved her 30s blouse.

Gosh, those trousers! I understood the pocket thing but otherwise they’d have been a real arse to make!
I remember making a bias cut skirt once and it was so hard not to stretch it all out of shape.
The right person went, I think.

The trouser challenge was awful. I’m surprised any of them managed it in the time given.
Brogan dodged a bullet there. Her transformation was pretty poor and her 30s gown quite frumpy.

Re: Great British Sewing Bee is back
I couldn't make head nor tail of the pockets and flap opening of the trousers, even with the illustration and explanation. I felt for Brogan this week. She really didn't do well at all. I was surprised she had chosen a short dress for the made-to-measure and the bust darts were very oddly placed. She should have noticed that the shoulder seams weren't correctly aligned. Glad she's still there, though. It was Cristan's time to go.
