It sounds a lot less dramatic. If he isn't being a dick about Covid I will warm to him too.

I think swapping the letters is pointless tbh but I enjoy doing it anyway.

Aww, I have happy memories of watching Andy with L and I’m glad he’s as nice as he seems.

I hate him with a passion  I know friends who have inappropriate feelings for him though, they’ll be delighted to know he’s a good’un :))

Totally underwhelming, but we shared a lift with Alex from Big Brother 3 yesterday in Bluewater. He was there with his wife and four children - they are a very attractive family! - and was very friendly after S decided that the best way to make sure that everyone had enough room would be for him to stand outside the lift 😂

Yes - I also vividly remember him being horrified that his fellow male housemates were peeing in the shower and dashed to clean it with Domestos bleach, so they released a tv ad with him after the series finished.

Oh, I looked for this thread when we came back from the UK a few weeks back. We shared the Stena Plus lounge on the ferry with Jeremy Irons. We had to laugh. If he was trying to be incognito, it was failing miserably. You couldn't help but notice him. He looked like a massive weirdo, dressed completely in black: oversized coat, breaches with lace-up ankle boots, and a fedora hat. He looks ancient.

I’ve just looked him up, he’s 73. Apparently he owns a castle in county Cork and another residence in Dublin, which explains the crossing.

I remember Alex’s disgust  at the shower situation-quite right- and his advert. That was a great BB series.

It took me so long to realise that Adele from that series of BB was Adele on R1.

It must be the day for celeb spots, I saw Oz Clarke in Parsons Green today. He looked totally worse for wear and it was only about 1pm! I guess it's a hazard of the job :uhh:

I was on the Irish version of DIY SOS Big Build this week. (I donated a sewing machine.) I don't expect Baz Ashmawy is known in the UK, but he seems to be everywhere here - including presenting DIY SOS. My colleague, S, assures me that my outfit looked a lot better than this. I think I was standing at an awkward angle ...
