Well the Oasis came today & is going straight back as it’s not worth the money, it feels cheaply made and the shape of it makes it a bit awkward to hold.

How are you getting on with the Paperwhite, Disco?

I think I will stick with my ancient kindle until it dies

I really like the Paperwhite though I obviously have nothing to compare it to! Som. eone on this thread mentioned the shape of the Oasis wasn't conducive to a good handfeel (making shit up as I go along) and so I didn't think it warranted the price tag

Yes I think the paperwhite is the best option. I thought I’d like the page turn buttons on the oasis but I’m so used to touchscreens now that I realised I don’t need them really.
