This house is largely normal.Except for picture 12. WTF is on the walls? What is with the (fake?) Italianate window at the end? And the chair of solitude.
I like the pink furry house - it's a bit less boring than lots of the magnolia boxes you see these days. Even if every single room is decorated with a different scheme!
Pink furry house is weird. Why are there two bathrooms & one bedroom on the top floor? Maybe the activities in the cavern mean a lot of people need to wash
That house should be acquired by the National Trust or something :)) I'd actually keep the kitchen if it was in good enough nick, just change the wall paper.
We looked at a house that was similarly a perfect 70s time capsule a couple of years ago - the kitchen was exactly the same tiled and style as that, but the cupboard doors were bright orange. I did idly think that if we bought it it might be worth seeing if there was any scope to rent it out as a location before we started ripping everything out. :))
Its time's like this that you can really see why people ripped out historic 'features' in houses a few decades ago that people would sell their kidneys for now. I've been to a few places where they've taken out a fireplace or kitchen units or whatever and you think in another 10 yrs we'll want that... just not quite yet.

I often think that about 30s fireplaces. Everyone's cottoned on to not ripping out Victorian fireplaces but original 30s ones are seen as brown and dull and ugly and not worthy of saving. Give it 20 years...... :))
I'm sometimes tempted to get rid of the very 60s bannisters in our house because - well, they're 60s and blocky and not the done thing these days. But the house is 60s.
I went to house just last month with a 30's fireplace and she'd kept it and liked it, but her husband really wanted them to rip it out and put in a reck-yard thing.
