You've sometimes got to wonder what the Estate Agents are thinking...
The messiest bedroom. Why take a photo?

A plate, spoon and cutlery in the bathroom. Why oh why? Photo 11

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
I wonder if people get a bit shirty if EAs ask them to tidy up? Or maybe it is a rental so the tenants don't care?
This is one of my biggest bugbears though - I just don't understand why people don't tidy up. Your house is possibly the most valuable asset you have - why wouldn't you want to maximise its value and make it look the best it can?

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Yes, that tidy house is a house share, I don't think it excuses bathroom + food mixes though :))
The messy house must be a rental, but the EA has managed to photograph herself in a mirror too, so nobody involved seems to care much.

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
I'll take the couple of plates in the bathroom in the otherwise quite clean house to the grimness that's the other one. Ugh.

I guess if it is a rental, its not like the landlord can just nip round and give it a quick tidy for the photos!

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Anyone could take two seconds to straighten out that leopard print duvet though.
The shot of the kitchen in the second house is making me laugh too - someone has obviously cared enough to tidy every single thing from the gleaming worktop, yet there are PILES of stuff on top of the cupboards. It looks like someone under 5ft tall has tidied and thought "Ah! Perfect!" oblivious to the crap above their eyeline :))

Re: Strange & Unusual Houses
Someone tried to make a one bedroom flat a country house. All the dead things, though.
