A former prison for medieval witches is being marketed to "someone connected to the paranormal industry" after failing to attract conventional buyers.

"The Cage" in St Osyth, Essex, saw a woman imprisoned as a witch in 1582.

The current owner said she experienced "hostile and active" haunting in the property, which is priced at £290,000 and has been for sale for six months.

Estate agents Lawrence Antony Homes said the house was "set up to accommodate a paranormal business".

And pic 10 appears to have been taken during a massive unreported nuclear explosion in Clacton. Great photography skills there, Messrs Lawrence Antony. Bonus points for going on to include it in the listing.

Oh, my. Never has so much dark wood been seen in so much abundance in one place. I think they're aiming for Arts and Crafts but hitting....something else.

The EA has clearly been moved to deploy an unusually high level of descriptive illiteracy. Even for an EA.

Bedrooms two and three enjoy views over the rear of the property both offering period features such as decorative coving and ceiling roses with feature "One Way Glass" and motorised black out blinds.

I like the last two pics. 28 shots of fancy arse period flat and then two of the gorgeous views.....over a council estate. :woteva:
