I can't. Rocky hates everything. She's only nice to me when she's hungry.

Floof. :love2:

Get a small, docile one, Bean. If it doesn't work with Rocky, I will try it with Pix.

I feel bad for shorthaired uncomplimented TMac now. :( I love him, too.

He's a lovely spotty chap, curled neatly in his stool. I call that position the Doughnut.

Yes, get her a nice, easy going black boy.

This is why I can't talk about my cats in public.

Honestly such racism.

I really fancy a tortie next, I think they sound interesting. Although my heart belongs to gingers.

I just watched a Bengal recovering from a leg operation on Supervet (probably from weeks ago) and her anger and utter disdain at having to do hydrotherapy made me totally fall in love. :love2: The difficult ones are very lovable.

My Q is such a Bengal (even though he's not a pedigree). It's like having a puppy around the place.

(I can't find that book- will update when I have.)

Chester is totally oblivious to any noises and if I hoover I often have to do it round him as he refuses to move.

Olive hates the hoover, adores visitors and watches everyone else when fireworks go off to see how they react. Sometimes she runs away (if she's on my lap and one makes me jump) and sometimes she goes to the window to watch them.

Loki will flick an ear at the fireworks but is otherwise uninterested, but he's terrified of thunder and dislikes the vacuum cleaner. He loves visitors as long as they come into the house. If they sit down, and especially if they have lace-up shoes on he'll roll around on their feet in ecstasy. The postman, who obviously never comes into the house, gets growled at.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Ted does this all the time. Jumps up to snuggle with ears at fight mode. Eric will do the same and then Eric starts grooming him and Ted falls asleep.

Very much so. With other cats he's the dominant, hissing and striking poses at any other animal but with humans he is the opposite, very pliable and needy.

Ted is the opposite, very needy of Eric's attention but is standoffish with humans.

Their personalities complement each other very well and it helps that Ted has brute strength on his side so if Eric gets a bit too boisterous Ted slams him to the floor WWF style.
