The yellow is just gorgeous, smal.

emma's summery skirt gave me a yen. What do we think of this?

It is pretty, isn't? I would like some yellow small wedge sandals and a fitted blue t-shirt to wear with it. Also to be twenty years younger and a lot browner, but hey, we can't have it all.

Bugger I just asked on the other thread where this was from. So ... where is it from? :))

That is a really nice skirt, zooms. Yellow wedges would be :hbeat:

After a little splurge in the COS winter sale I am supposed to be on a clothes spending ban. But I have just seen this and I wants it.

I was looking because I have a non-work, formal dinner to go to this weekend and didn't have time to shop, so tried out Rent the Runway. The dresses arrived yesterday (my size and a size up) and irritatingly on the size of the dress that would fit the zip is so stiff that I can barely move it on the hanger, let alone once it's on my body :verm: So I'm going to have to wear the one well-worn dress in my wardrobe that will do (thought I didn't want to wear it again). It is a COS classic that I've had for about five years and still looks decent, timeless etc. so I was trying to find something else that I could add to my wardrobe for these kinds of occasions. I do have one other dress but I am too fat for it at the moment  Anyway, I came across this. I am not sure of the fabric, or how it would fall over my numerous lumps so I expect I couldn't do it justice. But I do like it quite a lot. I might just order it and see :look:

It's a shame you don't have a Rent the Runway near you so you could try things on, Epp. I love the grey dress, I hope it looks lovely on, I can see it suiting you.

It is, and it would also suit you well

I wish there was an RTR try on option here! I am now going to have to work out if I have grounds to complain and get some money back. I will have a last ditch try with the smaller size (it ALMOST) zipped up, if I massively dehydrate between now and tomorrow night and don't eat, I might manage it :ruby: But I'm ready to wear the COS one anyway.

Spanx might help zipping up as an emergency measure.

Tried and tested Cos sounds more comfy though :hbeat:

Am I allowed to say that I think the grey dress looks like a dressing gown? :look: I'm by no means fashionable or classic though!

I like the grey dress a lot.

Can you rub soap on the zip without compromising your deposit?

Oh, I've just googled and a graphite pencil is preferred before soap.

Or a candle.

I'm still not on board with COS.

I was going to say pencil on the zip. It does work, we used to do it in the shoe shop regularly.

The colour is amazing on you but I do think the length swamps you a bit. It might be the angle, though?
