Pretty much all the constituent parts of this top are things I dislike in tops so I really don't know why I like it. It kind of looked cute, hanging there, on a nice spring like day, I suppose.

I've been after some all-american winter boots and these are now in the sale. We're meant to have a snowstorm tonight so would be handy. Would I look ridiculous wearing these in the UK? In weather appropriate times, of course.

I would say go for it, like Ella says, when it's snowing I don't care what anyone thinks of my footwear, I'm more concerned with staying warm/upright (last time it snowed heavily it turned into a skating rink near to where I lived, I was one of the few people that didn't fall over (in my ugly footwear)).

They have them in black too but the bottom bit is really, really shiny. Too shiny!

Thoughts on this jacket for work? It's too expensive but it's in the sale. It's silvery-grey. Is it too elderly? My office is freezing and v corporate.
