Maracas! :))

I like the colour of the khaki, but think the drop waist style is just too Shirley Temple for me. On anyone, that is!

Yes, it probably is. I think I'll go and get the red one- it'll bed good for work things as well.

I really want the white shirt off the White Stuff advert but it won't look like that on me.

In times of crisis I am soothed by looking at pretty things online. I am seriously not in the market and would have nowhere to wear it even if I did buy, but I love this.

I also love this.

And this so cute.

Nice dress with the bananas, Pip, although the way she's wearing those shoes with it are a bit weird. I can't figure out if it's the shoes, or the way she's standing.
I like all those jumpers, Scooter.

I love that top dress, Pip.

I went a bit mad last weekend and bought pretty much an entire new summer wardrobe. My clothes were all so OLD - since I left my job 18 months ago I have barely been shopping as I'm not in the West End all the time any more.

I also finally got some gold Salt Water sandals which I adore. :love2: I now want all the colours.

I have to say though - has anyone been in Zara in the last few weeks? The clothes were hilariously bizarre and shit. And the one in Westfield looked like a jumble sale.

Sometimes I go in Zara and love it and wonder why I don't shop there much and in the following months I wander in 5 times and think their design department must be high.

There was a 40% off sale. I bought the 3 jumpers above and the plain ones in the other colours 2. I probably don't need 5 jumpers :look:

I've never really rated Zara. The quality has always seemed really poor and the clothes are an odd fit. It was always one of those shops I wanted to like, but never got it.

Oh the things I do have from Zara I like, and thought the quality is good (for the price).

There's too much like this though:

Yellow ruffle sleeve coat anyone?

Or maybe a printed kimono dress which splits to the crotch.

The current range is astonishing. All flammable fabrics in confusing shapes and pastel colours. :granny:

I agree. It's all too conceptual but not in the right kind of materials at the moment.

I agree re: Zara at the moment. Everything has those ruffled sleeves which I will inevitably trail through my food and make me look like I should have a pair of maracas.

But I persevere as some of my longest standing wardrobes basics are from there including my cheerful yellow trousers.

Argh. I love this. It's a bit pricey. But I've been peering at it for ages and I still love it. I could wear it all sorts of places and for all sorts of occasions.
