The Dressing Room
Perhaps a 2018 new clothes thread is in order? The title comes from a company I've just ordered this from, for my work do; I thought the lace was at the back, but it's actually at the front. It's either going to be lovely or horrific. (The top. The do should hopefully be very pleasant.)
I spent an good hour trying on jeans in TK Maxx and House of Fraser, both of which were pointless - but won a pair of True Religion ones on eBay for a tenner, so fingers crossed they'll fit.

Re: The Dressing Room
I like that, I hope it isn’t too low for you.
I’m trying to wear more of my swing dresses so I’ve got this long sleeve, sweetheart neckline one and another I’m a bit worried about. I’d bought a Christmas dress that didn’t arrive so the shop offered me a selection of other to choose from. I went for a bright blue one covered in Snow White prints (I’d had a bottle of wine) so we’ll see if I wear it.

I do love you in those dresses. Is this a local store or an online one?

Re: The Dressing Room
The top was horrendous - thin as tissue and very cheap looking. The photo made it look almost velvety. Pah!

Re: The Dressing Room
I bought a bandeau top from Whistles before Christmas which I loved, but which proved impossible to wear as the band across the bust continually rucked up. Whistles have been very good and offered me an exchange so I'm hoping this will be better, especially with the high-waisted jeans I've decided to keep (I can afford them now as I have got £50 worth of House of Fraser vouchers so I'm going to take them back and then buy them again!).

That's nice lils. I find those bardot ones often do ride up.
We walked down Oxford Street today because S needed emergency cuff links, and I had my first ever trip to uniqlo (I've browsed online but I don't think it sells well if you haven't been in the shop ), I really liked it and bought some navy ankle length trousers which fit perfectly (which basically never happens), a grey merino wool thin jumper and a black merino cardigan. Wish there was one closer (we passed two just on Oxford St! )

The new top is perfect. I love it!
I love Uniqlo, I got some lovely tunics from there.
I walked past Oasis on my way to work and got this - it's down to £30. I am thinking about wearing it tonight instead of my top and jeans. But I don't know if I can pull it off. The hemline is a bit weird. The velvet is lovely though; it makes me look like a mole, in a good way.

I pondered that too! I'd decided on unique-low then decided the way the logo is made yu-nee klow more likely.

I do it Ella’s way.
Today I purchased some burgundy joggers. I very nearly sized down but in the end chose proper slouchy comfort and so ordered in store for home delivery.

I say You-ni-klo.
I purchased these shorts today. And a pair of denim ones that I can’t find online.

All the lovely spring colours are in the shops now. I couldn’t resist green jeggings for wearing with my Mum uniform of stripy tops.

Re: The Dressing Room
I love those green jeggings. On a similar theme, I bought these extra thick leggings, in both colours.
